V shaped video conference tables.

Fusion have several solutions for a V shaped table for a video conferencing room. Traditional shaped conference tables don’t work too well with VC cameras as viewing angles can be a problem. The latest camera tech is better with auto zoom and wider angle lenses but some conference rooms can be too long and narrow, and screen position below the ideal height.

Space planning a video conference room.

Certain conference room shapes are best when a V shaped table is used. Square rooms in particular need wide table configurations. A single table top can’t easily fill square, or very wide, rooms. In this situation a V shaped table can be the best solution for both VC meetings and for conventional conference use.

This drawing is an example of a room shape that is better suited to a wider table shape. Trying to use a conventional table wouldn’t make good use of the space, and is unlikely to seat the same number of people.

Starting with a layout plan to determine the table shape that fits the space, and achieve the number of seating positions, is often the best way to start the table design process. From this starting point we can then narrow down the options for the table.

A second consideration is the table format…static or mobile. Table ranges are available for both types. Folding video conference tables on wheels are a popular system that supports both VC meetings as well as other table layouts or to clear the room completely. If you want a more impressive table a static V shaped table is usually the way to go.
