Sliding Whiteboards for Boardroom in London Victoria.
Floor to ceiling sliding whiteboards have been installed in a boardroom in London Victoria. The glazed office facade has very little solid wall space and our sliding whiteboards solve the problem of how to integrate dry-wipe surfaces into a boardroom setting.
Boardroom Sliding Whiteboards
Several columns also have access panels which further precludes using fixed whiteboards, and a mobile trolley stand never looks suitably ‘boardroom’ or is compact enough not to get in the way. The track mounted sliding whiteboard system is perfect for this setting. The panels slide beautifully and the system can be specified with standard aluminium metalwork or any paint colour.
In this installation the boards selected by the client are solid magnetic, or they could have been semi-transparent whiteboards to allow more daylight to be retained. As a secondary sun screen the solid boards have a useful role.
A double track allows the panels to slide passed each other or to be parked at either end of the track.
The base track was fixed on top of already fitted carpets, and the head track positioned set out to avoid interference with the perimeter AC grilles and downlights. With minimal impact on the decor these whiteboards have been fitted into the boardroom without any need for redecorating. The base track is very low profile with a radiused edge to ensure its not a trip hazard.
An exterior shot of the building in London shows just how much glazing is used. Commenting on the installation the client expressed an interest in using the system in other parts of the office, alongside the first installation n the boardroom.
