Sliding whiteboard space dividers
Fusion have completed the installation of sliding whiteboard screens to divide an open plan office into zones. The whiteboard screens are a retractable lightweight divider that are designed as double sided dry-wipe whiteboards.
There are a host of options for the sliding space dividers. Magnetic sliding whiteboards are the most popular. These can be specified as shown here with a gap above and below, or with any amount of solid whiteboard up to full height within the sliding track frame. We can make the boards double sided, or have diffeerent finishes such as pinboard on one face and whiteboard on the reverse. Semi-transparent whiteboard is another option, or acoustic panels if noise reduction is beneficial.
The screens run on a triple track and can be nested into two groups. Being a lightweight solution they can be moved instantly without any effort. The client is particularly pleased with the ability to position the sliding whiteboard panels for privacy without fully cutting the office into sections, so that some sight lines and vision are maintained. The whiteboard infills can be made full height, or sectional as shown here.
Our sliding whiteboards have been used in a number of projects to create space dividers in offices, part of an office design trend labelled ‘broken plan’. Several examples are shown in our Blog section, or click here to see images showing the sliding whiteboard system used in all sorts of ways.
Why have sliding whiteboards?
1. A sliding whiteboard moves where you want it. Get the whiteboard wherever its needed…no restrictions from windows, columns, internal glazing. Move boards to bring the right one front and centre. Divide space in a functional way.
2. Enhanced control. Using whiteboards on a sliding track enhances the ability to control the space. Put up with fewer compromises and set up your space exactly as its needed. Display information where its best in view.
3. Making office spaces more dynamic. Moving whiteboards is a great way to make the space more dynamic. Get away from static dry-wipe boards so that you’re controlling the layout, putting information where its needed. Sliding whiteboards give Users the platform to boost their interactions, improve presentations and display of information.
